Pay rate $12.00/hr
Job Duties Include:
Conduct quality control test
Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality.
Confer with marketing and sales departments to define client requirements and expectations.
Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment.
Conduct daily facility inspection
Conduct product testing activities throughout production cycles.
Conduct tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data.
Stop production if serious defects are present.
Verify that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standards.
Check raw ingredients for maturity or stability for processing and finished products for safety and quality.
Review sanitation procedures weekly and communicate nonconformities to Quality Manager.
Ensure that Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) are being followed by all employees.
Inspect food processing areas to ensure compliance with government regulations and standards for sanitation, safety, quality, and waste management standards.
Test new products for flavor, texture, color, and adherence to government and industry standards.
High School degree
Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in quality control.
Reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
Careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Pleasant with others on the job and displays a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
