Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Salary range 35k - 52k
Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities include:
Accept requests for material procurement, correspondence, information, administrative work, etc. From various managers. Set priorities and provide alternatives to meet their needs.
Ensure materials are put away, using a forklift, or manual lifting.
Establish, maintain, and update files with a variety of information, including business reports, vendor information, departmental lists, etc.
Collect, sort, classify, and analyze information from a variety of sources.
Manage responsibility for purchased material availability issues.
Analyze Facilities Maintenance Department inventory information from a variety of sources.
Meet or exceed typical expectations for creativity, production, quality, attendance, and safety
High school or equivalent required.
Have a at least three years of office experience that includes administrative duties
Be proficient using Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, in person, written, and by telephone.
Have a good work record, including indications of strong self-motivation, high productivity, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality.
Prior experience with purchasing in a manufacturing or metals shop a plus!
