Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Manage daily operations of the office
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize client satisfaction and facility efficiency
Assigns duties and shifts to workers and observes performances to ensure adherence to centers policies and established operating procedures.
Hire, terminate, and train staff in a medical office.
Supervise Providers, receptionists, and medical billers and coders.
Confers and cooperates with other department heads to ensure coordination of activities.
Delegate responsibilities.
Assess employee performance and ensures top performance of office staff by providing them adequate coaching and guidance
Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
Formulate objectives and processes.
Manage daily operations of the practice while maintaining a professional workplace and productive flow of the office
Must meet deadlines
Verify patient insurance
Maintain medical records.
Manages new patient intake processes
Perform data entry and processing.
Responsible for keeping up with HIPAA and training staff regarding such.
Answers inquiries pertaining to center policies and services.
Handle conflict resolution for escalated issues among patients and employees alongside upper management heads
Promotes and maintains a safe, professional, positive, and secure working environment.
Advises patients according to treatment plan.
Receives and processes front desk charges and payments.
Confirm and review nightly billing
Greets patients, guests and customers.
Takes care of public rooms and keeps office clean and neat in appearance.
Supervises front desk administrative staff members and confirms execution of all front desk tasks on a daily basis.
Other duties may be assigned.
