Position: Commercial Maintenance Technician
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $26 to $29/hour
Experience: (5) years of experience/education in commercial office building systems maintenance.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Education/training experience must be from a reputable Technical Institution or College.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
HH Staffing is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Make schedule and program adjustments to various functional systems.
- Identify and implement enhancements to existing systems to improve functionality and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain budgets in close collaboration with the Senior Property Manager.
- Order and maintain stock for repairs while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Keep detailed records and logs of equipment maintenance on a routine basis.
- Investigate recurring customer-related issues and escalate findings to the Property Manager.
- Perform minor repairs to plumbing, HVAC systems, roofing, windows, and doorways.
- Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with customers.
- Assist in preparing for and responding to inclement or severe weather conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency calls during nights, weekends, and holidays on an alternating on-call schedule.
- Fundamental knowledge of state and local building codes.
- A valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills are highly desirable.
