Position: Maintenance Tech/HVAC Apprentice
Location: Homestead, FL
Pay: $20/hour
Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a multi-family residential setting
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA Certified
Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Tech/HVAC Apprentice to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Prepare vacant units for new residents by performing general repairs, painting and cleaning
- Ensure appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and HVAC systems are functioning properly
- Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance, such as replacing filters and checking system operations
- Address resident maintenance requests, including minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Maintain common areas and exterior property, manage waste disposal and ensure safety compliance
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations and document all repairs
- Communicate effectively with residents and property management to ensure timely service and resident satisfaction
Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to use common tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
