Job Description
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $26 to $29/hour (Depending on experience)
Experience: Five(5) years of experience/education in commercial office building systems maintenance.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or degree preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Must be available to be on-call)
HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Perform routine building inspections and minor repairs to plumbing, HVAC systems, roofs, windows, and doorways.
- Collaborate with the Senior Property Manager to monitor and maintain budgets.
- Order and maintain stock for repairs.
- Keep records and equipment logs updated.
- Coordinate life safety systems inspections, services, and repairs.
- Promote energy conservation through proper equipment maintenance.
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas (mechanical and electrical).
- Install and repair ceiling tiles, wall coverings, vinyl tiles, carpet, cove base, window blinds, signage, and more.
- Foster positive working relationships with customers.
- Assist with inclement weather and emergency preparedness and response.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be available for emergency on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays on an alternating schedule.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Fundamental knowledge of state and local building codes.
- Current Florida Driver’s License.
- Documented training/certification/license in one or more of the following: EPA Certified (D), HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical.
- Strong customer service skills.
